The Guvnor, Mine Host, The Man, The Outback Adventurer himself! A little piece of him (the bit he keeps the Fosters in) remains forever in Australia.

Born and raised on a dairy farm in Millaa Millaa (Aboriginal for ‘Land of many waterfalls’), North Queensland, Australia, Dwayne has brought his love of the outdoors into his business. His first job, running his family’s white water rafting and horse riding venture, fired up his interest in cooking. “Our farm had its own river” says Dwayne “the Beatrice River set deep in the rain forest. My parents ran a restaurant serving good old Australian home-cooked tucker, and the rafting and horse riding trips that I led included the odd BBQ!” It was on one such trip that Dwayne met his British wife, Jennet, and settled in the UK. The couple decided to change their lives and recapture the enjoyment of their trail riding days (without the white water rafting obviously) and bring a bit of Australia to the Home Counties.

The power behind the throne, keeps Dwayne busy and out of trouble. “I don’t let him rest for too long” she says “he would only get up to mischief”.

The God Mother. This mysterious figure is the real hub of the outfit. Without her secret Apple Sauce and Stuffing recipe the Aussie BBQ Co would be a very different outfit indeed.
